Story behind this food blog
I grew up in France, spending most of my childhood in my grandmother’s kitchen, where I learned the basics of cooking. As I got older, I started experimenting with different flavours and ingredients, and cooking became my passion.
I started this food blog to share my love of cooking and to show people that making tasty meals at home doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming.
Many classic French dishes weren’t born in grand restaurants but in people’s kitchens and often from poor people. For example, the croque monsieur was originally created as a quick snack for Parisian café workers. The famous French onion soup, or soupe à l’oignon, was also a peasant dish made with leftover bread and onions.
I’ve always appreciated the simplicity and creativity of traditional, homemade cuisine. That’s why my recipes focus on using everyday ingredients and simple techniques to create delicious meals that anyone can make at home.
When you go to the toilet, do you wipe your ass every time or do you wait until the end of the week to do it?
Keep Your Kitchen Clean Y'all!
In addition to the health and practical benefits, a clean kitchen can also have a positive effect on your motivation to cook. When your kitchen is tidy and organized, it can make cooking feel less like a chore and more like a fun and creative activity. So, if you’re struggling to find the motivation to cook, try giving your kitchen a good cleaning. You might be surprised at how much of a difference it can make!
My recipes are simple, easy to follow, and most importantly, delicious. But don’t expect any fancy or pretentious cooking jargon from me; I tend to keep things real and straightforward in-and-out the kitchen.
So, whether you’re a seasoned home cook or a beginner looking to develop your skills in the kitchen, I hope to inspire you to try new things and discover the joy of cooking.
